Sharing our research and collections with local students isn’t enough for us, so we’re taking the Museum on the road.

The team from Lifelong Learning will be heading north to Townsville for the Science, Art and Technology festival. This exciting 2 day event at the Museum of Tropical Queensland is linking fabulous talks, workshops and activities to local students and community.

This is followed up with a one day high school event at the University of Western Sydney Hawkesbury campus.

Then we head north again to Port Macquarie for the regional stop of the Australian Museum Science Festival. The dynamic two-day Festival in November combines industry partners and science professionals from Charles Sturt University and the Australian Museum. These partners will lead a range of hands-on activities, talks and workshops for primary and secondary school students.

To top it off we are also participating in Virtual Excursions Australia ClickFest Video Conferencing Festival in November. We will be running a series of free and discounted sessions throughout November for students that can't visit the Museum.

All these amazing events shows our commitment to sharing the Australian Museum collection and reserch to all Australians and our ability to function with a lack of sleep!
