Join Sydney-based D'harawal Saltwater Knowledge Keeper and artist Shannon Foster to learn how to create a sustainable Dilly Bag and gain insights into the social, cultural and ecological knowledge embedded in traditional Aboriginal weaving techniques.

These unique workshops offer an opportunity to gain understandings passed down through hundreds of generations in sustainably collecting and processing local grasses for weaving.

Open to beginners, intermediate and master weavers, the workshop is recommended for adults and youth 14+.

Ticket includes general admission to the Museum. Bring your own snack or purchase a meal from No. 1 William on level 4 during the half hour lunch break.
