This hands-on workshop is ideal for intermediate and enthusiast photographers who are looking to expand their practical knowledge of nature and wildlife photography.
Start with a 30-minute viewing of the Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year exhibition and then settle in with an experienced photographer and educator.
Learn how to get the most out of your equipment with simple but creative shooting techniques. Enjoy in-depth demonstrations with camera modes, aperture, ISO and shutter speed as well as shooting in manual and creative modes. Then put your new skills to the test in an hour’s shoot of live subjects including birds, lizards, phasmids, frogs and possums with possible cameo appearances by a python and baby crocodile.
Please bring your own DSLR camera along on the day.
