Image Gallery: BAAS in Sydney

This gallery shows images from a visit to the Australian Museum by members of the British Association for the Advancement of Science (BAAS), which met in Australia for the first time in 1914. It includes a report by Assistant Curator Charles Hedley and views of the Talgai skull, a fossilised skull presented to the Meeting that provided the first scientific evidence that Aboriginal people had lived in Australia since antiquity.
